It's rare to encounter an artist who consistently radiates a profound devotion to Christ in every interaction, but Jabari Johnson stands out as an exception to this rarity.

Originating from Houston, Texas, this gifted singer, songwriter, and musician embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of three. Collaborating with his brother, Nicholas Johnson, he formed the quartet group "The Johnson Brothers" when he was just eight years old. Their journey led them to share the stage with acclaimed quartet acts such as Lee Williams, The Canton Spirituals, Keith Wonderboy Johnson, and Tim Rogers.

While serving as the lead guitarist at The Potter's House under the guidance of Bishop T.D. Jakes in Dallas, TX, Jabari's musical prowess afforded him the incredible opportunity to perform alongside renowned artists such as Kirk Franklin, Tori Kelly, Todd Dulaney, Kierra Sheard Kelly, Myron Williams, Kim Burrell, John P. Kee, Myron Butler, Tye Tribbett, J.J. Hairston, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, The Hamiltones, J Drew Sheard, Tweet, Maranda Curtis, Ricky Dillard, Nestor Torres, Leela James, Tweet, Cuba Gooding Sr., Kirko Bangz, Leela James, Tobe Nwigwe, and many more. After six years at The Potter's House, Jabari retired his guitar and became one of the Worship Leaders at New Life Covenant Southeast, led by Pastor John F. Hannah, in Chicago, Illinois.

His television appearances include captivating performances at the 33rd & 34th Annual Stellar Awards, events with Bishop T.D. Jakes & MegaFest's Faith, Family, Film Festival, Tye Tribbett, The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and the BET HIP-HOP AWARDS alongside Tobe Nwigwe.

In March 2015, Jabari achieved a significant milestone when he released his debut single, "You are Holy," which generated considerable excitement within the gospel industry and opened doors to numerous opportunities. Following that, he released singles such as "More of You" and "You're Good" in March 2016.

DEBUT ALBUM DAY OF REDEMPTION

In May 2018, Jabari unveiled his first project, "Day of Redemption," which garnered national and international attention over time, earning him a Stellar Award Nomination and Win for New Artist of the Year and second-round Recording Academy Consideration in 2018.

In 2019, Jabari released a new single, "Fixed Fight," which spent several weeks on the Billboard Gospel airplay charts and claimed the top spot at #1. In 2020, the hit song "Try Jesus," written by Jabari Johnson for Tobe Nwigwe, was released and charted on the Billboard R&B Digital Song Sales chart at #4.

In 2022, Jabari released his sophomore album, "One Touch," which continues gaining momentum in the United States and abroad. That same year, he received nominations for a Stellar Award and a Dove Award for his album and hit song "One Touch."

Jabari is not only an accomplished guitarist but also a willing, ready, and able vessel to be used by God. He humbly attributes all the glory to God for his growth and progress in life and all his endeavors.

In the year 2023, Jabari achieved one of his most significant milestones by concluding the year with his marriage to Jasmine (Ellis) Johnson, marking a momentous achievement in his life.
